‘Oseh Shalom’ by Elana Jagoda – Jewish Rock Radio Song of the Week
The news in our world of late has been really hard for all of us, but many of us, myself included, have found a LOT of hope and inspiration in songs for peace. One of my absolute favorites is “Oseh Shalom” by Elana Jagoda. I especially appreciate Elana’s accessible English translation “May the One who brings peace bring peace down” that turns this traditional Jewish prayer for peace into something more universal.
